    Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak started Apple Computers on April Fool's Day and introduced the Apple I. According to Stanford University, it is the first computer with a single-circuit board.

    Apple's Lisa is the first personal computer with a GUI (graphic user interface). It also includes a drop-down menu and icons. The computer fails, but it eventually turns into the Macintosh. The Macintosh also has a keyboard and mouse along with the GUI.
