  • The French and Indian War

    It was called the seven year war because it lasted 7 years.It happened when Frances expansion into the Ohio river valley brought repeated conflict with the British colonies which led to the official British Declaration.
  • Proclamation of 1763

    After Britain won the seven year war and won land in North America it issued that the American colonists can not go settle west of the Appalachia.
  • The American Revolution

    The American Revolution was a revolt which started 1765 and ended 1783 The Thirteen Colonies defeated the British in the American Revolutionary War with the assistance of France.
  • Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty

    Samuel Adams and The Sons of Liberty were the people that destroyed the tea in the Boston tea party.Whoever made The Sons of Liberty was unclear but it dates back from 1765.They would fight back against the British Empire and tax collectors would get burned with tar than put feathers on the Tax collectors.
  • The Boston Tea Party

    The Boston Tea Party was a political protest to the British.The American colonists were so angry with the British for the "No Taxation without Representation" that they dumped 342 chests full of tea was dumped into the river.
  • The Intolerable Acts

    The Intolerable Acts Law was passed after The Boston Tea Party.The Laws were meant to punish the Massachusetts colonists for the protest of the taxation.
  • First Continental Congress

    The first continental congress met in carpenters hall in Philadelphia.It was also the seat of the Pennsylvania Congress all of the colonies except Georgia sent delegates.
  • "The Shot heard around the world"

    Hundreds of redcoats were sent to Concord, Massachusetts, in order to seize weapons and ammunition from the American Colonists.
  • The Second Continental Congress

    The Second Continental Congress was a meeting of delegates from 12 of the 13 American Colonies that joined the American Revolutionary War. It was on May 10th 1775 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after the battles of Lexington and Concord.
  • The Declaration of Independence

    The Declaration of Independence was declared/signed on July 4th 1776.By signing the Declaration of Independence all 13 colonies would go to war against the British and that caused The American Revolutionary War and well declared independence.
