Reichstag Fire
In the Reichstag fire the Nazis had plotted to burn the building down and eventually did.The communists were blamed because of a dutch communist (Van der Lubbe) who was found in the buliding as it burned.Hitler had announced that the Reichstag building was on fire which manipulated citizens into voting for the Nazis - some were anti-communist.I chose this event as Hitler had manipulated people into to destruction or world domination. -
Hitler becomes leader
Paul von Hidenburg was about to die which meant that someone else had to take over leadership for Germany, and that someone was Hitler.Hitler planned to use the president's death as an oppurtunity to have domain over Germany.I chose this beacuse this was Hitler's breakout to having control over Germany and now he could have done whatever he wanted to. -
The Nuremberg Race Laws
The Nuremberg Race Laws stopped Jews from marrying or having sexual relations with Aryans or to employ young Aryans as household help.Many Jews had to take a medical examination to see if they had no diseases so they could marry someone or not.I chose this one because it shows that Hitler didn't like or trust Jews as they had been forbidden to do many things like marry and Aryan. -
German Olympics
The german olymics was held in Berlin.In the olympics the germans had put moratorium of anti-jewish measures which meant that Jews weren't allowed to take part in the olympics.I chose this event because we can see how much hatred Hitler had for the Jews. -
Eternal Jew Exhibibtion
In the Eternal Jew Exhibiton the Nazis had put up propaganda of what Jews could do to the world if they were alive.Furthermore on one propaganda it says that the Jewish dress is a racial defilement.I chose this one as the Nazis were giving examples of how bad the Jews were. -
Nazis in Austria
When the Nazis arrive to Austria they, hItler announces that they will unite.After hearing about the 200,000 Jews livivng there, the Nazis start to arest Jews and publicly humiliate them.Some Jews had to srub the pavement.I chose this event because you can see what the Nazis had done to the Jews and the hatred they had for them. -
Emigration of Jews
In the emigration of the Jews, SS leader Heydrich was ordered to speed up the emigration of the Jews.Heydrich was known for hostility against Jews hich only meant that he was the right leader to speed up the emigration.I chose this beause of what SS leader Heydrich was known for and what he did to the Jews. -
The Krakow Ghetto
In the Krakow Ghetto the Jews had sealed themselves in the Ghetto to make them feel safe.Also some Jews had sold off their possessions.Furthermore some Jews had obtained ID cards from an administrative off in the ghetto.I chose this beacuse it was interesting how the Jews had their own land in a way.
