Declaration of independence
This was the day that the Declaration of Independence was signed, I was made by Thomas Jefferson. This was made so that Britain and the United States could be separate therefore the united states could be built. -
The Louisiana Purchase
In 1803 Thomas Jefferson bought the Louisiana territory from the French. He hierd two explorers to travel to the new territory. SO he hired Lewis and Clark.(citation)

The Trail of Tears
This was when the Cherokee nation was forced to give up its land and migrate to what is now present-day Oklahoma. They called it the Trail of Tears because of how devastating the trip was, they had over 4,000 out of 13,000 people die. Plus they faced hunger and a lot of diseases. -
The California Gold Rush
James W. Marshall discovered some gold while building in California. Word spread that they found it and over 300,000 people got in their wagon and carriage and went to California to become "rich." -
The Attack on Fort Sumter
The southerns seeded from the union, that was so they could take control of most federal forts that were within the borders. Then President Abraham Lincoln thought about having a war. Finally he deiced to send supplies but before they got the supplies they had already fired Anderson surrendered after 34 hours, but that is what marked the beginning of the Civil War. -
The First Teddy Bear
The first teddy bear was made by teddy Roosevelt in 1902. I was named after him because he liked to hunt but not baby animals like the baby bear. So they named a cute little stuffed animal after him call the Teddy Bear. -
The First Airplane
The Wright brothers were part of the american inventors and were the ones who invented the first plane. The built and flew their very own air craft on December 17 1903. This is very important because that is why we have airplanes today! -
Brown v. Board of Education
This was when Brown wanted to make a stand and so he fought against the board or education. He wanted to lead to integrated public schools. It also made us open up more to other successful challenges. -
The Death of Elvis
Elvis was a very known man. People all over the place knew him. Thats why their were so many hearts broken when they found out Elvis had died. He died of a heart attack on August 16 1977. -
My Sister Willoh's BIrthday
This is my older sister Willoh's Birthday! Shes a great sister and keeps me in line. She helps me out when I need her and she give's me advice all the time. I don't know what i would do without her either! -
September 11, 2001
This is the day when the terrorist took our commercial airliners and used them against us. Attacking sites in Washington and New York. Resulting in the Twin Towers getting hit and destroyed. -
