The group arrives at fort laramie. Here they are warned to stay on the regular path.They were warned by James Clyman who urges the emigrants to avoid Hastings Cutoff and take the regular route instead. -
fort bridger
The party reaches ft Bridger this is when they travel off the organ trail.They stay there for 4 days and when they are there they learn that hastings took the 20 wagons on the trail that were already there. -
traped
On October 28 1846 heavy snowfall blocks the mountain path the party was traveling on this leaves them stranded in the mountains. They soon run out of food and resort to cannibalized. -
Death
Some time in march of 1847 George Donner dies he was somewhere in the age of 60 to 62.He died at Alder Creek from starvation and infections he was later Cannibalized. -
Wife's Death
On march 27 1847 George Donner's wife Tameness Eustis died.At the time she was 44 years old she died at Breen cabin.The cause of death is still unknown.She was Cannibalized.
