    The Industrial Revolution impacted the land atmosphere. The industrial Revolution is when the British began to use machines to make clothes. Also the British began to use steam engines to run the machines.

    Britains jails where crowded and the convicts kept on coming. Britain was running out of space.
  • Britain Is Still A Rural Nation

    Britains nation was rural. Therefore, 80% of Britains population was in the country side.
  • America Was Fighting For Independence

    The Europeans where at America and was going to send all the convicts there. But the Europeans realised that America was in a war for independence. So the Europeans had to find another place to send the convicts.
  • Britain Had To Convince The Public To Come On The First Fleet

    The public who came on the ship, did not know where they where going. The Europeans had to convince them to come. When the Europeans landed in Australia, and the Public settles decided to stay, they became Free Settles.

    Port Jackson was discovered in 1788, by the first fleet. Some of the convicts stayed there.

    At 1788, The first fleet landed on Norfolk Island. They where going to put the convict there but they didn't.
  • Britain Destroyed The Land

    Britain destroyed aborigines land this is important as they did a big impact to their land. The aborigines had to start again, hunt, farm and make houses.
  • Bennelong Got Captured

    Bennelong was tricked into being friends with Arthur Phillip, but he was actually captured. Phillip didn’t let Bennelong go to his tribe. Bennelong ran away back to his tribe. Phillip got speared by Bennelong's tribe, but stayed alive.

    Port Phillip was discovered. Convicts where send there.
  • Lachlan Macquarie Became The Government

    Lachlan Macquarie was the government in 1810. Lachlan Macquarie took a number of Aboriginal children into custody, and he put them in a institution. This was run by William Sherry, this is where they leant and studied.
  • Brisbane

    Brisbane was discovered in 1824. The convicts where there but the land wasn't right.
  • Albany

    Albany was discovered. Convicts where sent there.
  • Fremantle

    Fremantle was discover. They set up jails and left convicts there.
  • The Land Changes

    The land when the aborigines came was all about hunting. But when the Europeans came it was about farming.

    In Australia they could pay farmers, butcher, pastors, etc. Social
  • Animals Changed

    The Europeans brought their own animals into the Aborigines land. This means the aborigines couldn't hunt as much of their native animals.
  • Narcisse Pelletier

    Narcisse Pelletier had to flee the Louisiade Archipelago ship, from Papua new Guinea, he then went on a small boat to a island called Cape York Peninsula. He lived an aboriginal life even getting the aboriginal traditions done to him (Nose rings and cut on the stomach). He got married and had children, but he was forced to leave his family and go back to France.

    James Norrell-Had to flee to a island, he lived as an aboriginal person and got married to a aboriginal woman. But when the Europeans came to rescue him, he wanted to leave and he left his wife.
  • The Gold Rush

    The Gold Rush happened. This made the British more rich and able to live. This also helped with jobs as gold mining was a job.
