The Harwood Butcher
Sonny Forelli, growing apprehensive of Tommy's increasing power, attempted to set up an ambush for him, under the guise of a hit in Harwood. However, Tommy not only survived, but also killed all 11 men that were sent to kill him. He was convicted of eleven counts of murder. Tommy was sentenced to death for the murders, but since he kept quiet and turned no evidence on the Forelli Family, Sonny Forelli used judicial connections to commute the sentence. Vic Vance arrives in Vice City
He first he encounters is Sgt. Jerry Martinez a drug addict commanding officer of Victor Vance, who also has Victor kicked out of the army. As he makes progress he meets Marty Williams the leader of the trailer park mafia and also Louise Cassidy-Williams and her baby. Victor finds out that Marty is abusing Louise and their baby and after Marty kidnapped Louise and their baby, Victor chases and kills Marty. Then Victor works with Phil Cassidy by killing Cholos, -
Tommy Vercetti arrives in Vice City
After a 15 year sentence, Tommy Vercetti is sent to Vice City by his old boss, Sonny Forelli. They were nervous about his return to Liberty City, so a trip down south was good idea. But all does not go smoothly upon arrival in Vice City. He's set up and is left without money and no merchandise. Sonny wants his money back, but the biker gangs, gangsters, and politicians stand in his way. Most of Vice City seems to want Tommy dead. His only answer is to fight back and take over the city himself. -
San Andreas and The Johnson Family
CJ younger brother Brian died in 1987. The cause of his death was never revealed, though it is implied Carl was present but did not help him, as Sweet laments that Carl "let Brian die". He was no longer considered a member of Grove Street, and would later have to earn his way back into the gang. Big Smoke also implies that Carl was physically larger during that time, stating that the "East Coast got him all thinned out". -

During the Yugoslav war, Niko both witnessed and committed numerous atrocities, which led to his cynical perspective on life, Eventually, Niko's unit of fifteen men were ambushed by enemy forces, but Darko Brevic, Florian Cravic, and Niko himself survived. Niko concluded that either Florian or Darko had sold the group out, and he vowed to uncover and kill the culprit, not only to gain revenge, but also to hopefully 'close the book' on the incident, and move on with his life. -
Whetstone, San Andreas
CJ meets Catalina and pulls off several small robberies. He also meets a hippie named The Truth who grows marijuana and provides officer Tenpenny with drugs. He beats Triads in a race but Police find out about the Marijuana farms so Cj and Truth torch the fields along with police helicopters and cars. Cj then drives to his new garage with the marijuana intact. -

They have the player complete jobs, from stealing taxis to killing the LCPD chief as well as killing the lawyer of the Sonetti Gang Upon arrival to San Andreas, the player is contacted by Uncle Fu's gang, and then works for them. Once the player does enough work they can see the old man A cop named Samuel Deever calls the player because apparently they screwed up somewhere. The player works for him now. -

Mike and Liberty City
Mike is a small-time criminal, working for the more connected Vinnie. They decide to leave Liberty City together and try their luck elsewhere, but Vinnie convinces Mike to do some tasks for their sometimes-employers, the Mafia, prior to leaving. During one of these missions, Vinnie is apparently killed in a car bomb. Mike wants revenge and goes on missions for 8-ball, Asuka etc. He finds out Vinnie faked his death, this results in a shootout and Mike kills Vinnie and leaves Liberty City and USA -
Claude's Adventure
Claude has been betrayed and left for dead by his now ex girlfriend Catalina. Now he is taking revenge, unless the city gets him first. Mob bosses need a favor, crooked cops need help and street gangs want you dead. Claude needs to rob, steal and kill just to stay out of serious trouble. Anything can happen out here. -
North Yankton
A bank in Ludendorff, North Yankton is robbed by Trevor Philips, Michael Townley and Brad Snider. Brad Snider is killed by Dave Norton in North Yankton. Michael Townley fakes his death, changes his and his family's last names to "De Santa" and moves to Los Santos. Trevor Phillips escapes, and after some time, travels to Sandy Shores. -

Niko migrates to Liberty City to forget the horrific and graphic memories of his past and for a better life, after his cousin Roman asked Niko to join him and to live the American dream which is not true things don't come out as planned as he has to wipe out mobsters and loan sharks that are preventing his cousin from making money freely. -
