Paleo indians

18,000 BCE

They were nomads who lived from 18,000 to 8,000 BC. They crossed the Beringia Land bridge into America. They would be alive for the archaic period

Sumer

3300 BCE

Sumer was established in 3300 BC it was ruled by city states. They would preform rituals in ziggurats. They created the earliest form of writing called cuneiform.

Harrapa and mohenjo-daro are built

2600 BCE

Harrapa and mohenjo-daro were the two main cites in the Indus River valley. These cities were very well layer out with street grids and air conditioning. These cities were thought to be very peaceful.

Sphinx is built

2500 BCE

The sphinx was a giant statue of a sphinx which is a mythical creature with the body of a lion and a head of a human. It is believed to have been built for the pharaoh khafre. It is the oldest monumental sculpture in Egypt and is used in many mythology stories.

Aryans move into Indus Valley

1800 BCE

Aryans were cocasions who migrated into Indus River valley. They are mainly known for Hitler's plan to only have aryan race. They were considered occasion blue eyes blonde hair.

Hammurabi ruled

1792 BCE

Hammurabi would rule Babylon from 1792 to 1750 BC. He would develop a harsh set of laws called Hammurabis code. An example is if you build a house for someone and the house collapses and kills his son then your son shall be put to death.

Mohenjo daro and harrapa mysterious demise.

1500 BCE

Their are many theories of how harrapa and mohenjo-daro were destroyed. One is a massacre because bodys were found lying in the streets. Another theory is a nuclear bomb blew up the cities. My theory is they went into a famine and left the area.

First female pharaoh Hatshepsut

1473 BCE

Hatshepsut was the first female pharaoh born in 1507 BCE. She came to power 1473 BCE and ruled till her death in 1458 BCE. What is so weird about this pharaoh is after her death her monuments were defaced and she was erased from history by thutmose lll.

Birth of Ramses The great

1303 BCE

Ramses was a pharaoh of Egypt often thought of as the most celebrated pharaoh. He ruled from 1279 BCE to 1213 and led many war campaigns in Syria and Middle East. He made Egypt rich from all the supplies and riches he collected from other empires.

Zhou dynasty rules china

1046 BCE

The Zhou dynasty was the longest dynasty of ancient china. During their reign feudalism was established and would also eventually lead to their downfall. The Han dynasty oversaw the creation of many important Chinese philosophies. Their dynasty would last from 1046-256 BCE.

Nebuchadnezzar ll is born

634 BCE

Nebuchadnezzar ruled Babylon from 602 BC to 562 BC. He built one of the 7 wonders of the world the hanging gardens of Babylon. He is mainly known from his portrayal in the Bible.

Confucius is born

551 BCE

Confucius was a famous philosopher and politician who was born In 551 BCE. Confucius had a basis in common Chinese tradition and beliefs. His thoughts were later developed into a system called Confucianism.

Great Wall of China built

221 BCE

Was built for fortification to keep out invaders it was not very good at keeping invaders out. But was a very remarkable land mark which took many years to build. It was believed to be 5,500 miles long made from stone,wood,tampered earth,etc.
