    Queen Isabelle and King Ferdinand let 3 ships(Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria) for Christopher Columbus. Columbus departed from Castilian Palos de la Frontera with three ships(Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria). Christopher failed to find the real india, but it let europeans to go America.

    Amerigo Vespucci
    Italian explorer who explored South America on his 3rd voyage. Vespucci set sail for Cape Verde—this time in service to King Manuel I of Portugal. Vespucci's third voyage is largely considered his most successful. Believing he had discovered a new continent, in a letter to Florence, Vespucci called South America the New World. America is name after him.

    Portuguese explorer who discovered Philippine.
    Born into a wealthy Portuguese family in around 1480, Magellan became a skilled sailor
    Magellan himself was killed in battle on the voyage.
    He "proved" that the world is circle and bigger than imagine before.

    Francisco Pizzaro
    Born in Trujillo, Spain.
    On 10 November 1509, Pizarro sailed from Spain to the New World with Alonzo de Ojeda on an expedition to Urabí. He sailed to Cartagena and joined the fleet of Martín Fernández de Enciso, and, in 1513, accompanied Balboa to the Pacific. Pizarro founded the nation's new capital, Lima.

    Jacques Cartier
    French navigator Jacques Cartier was born on December 31, 1491, in Saint-Malo, Brittany, France. Cartier was to search for gold and other riches, spices, and a passage to Asia. Cartier sailed with two ships and 61 men, and arrived 20 days later. He explored the west coast of Newfoundland, discovered Prince Edward Island and sailed through the Gulf of St.Lawrence, past Anticosti Island. Canada is named after him.

    Charles V resigned Spain and Spainish American to Philip. He also abdicated from Holy Roman Empire and he resigned his emperors to his brother. The reason why he resigned early is because he thought he couldn't handle all the emperor that he had. One of main cause was reformation movement in German. After he resigned the spain to philip, the hapsburg dynasty split in Spain and Netherlands.

    After he discover Guidana he wrote a book named The Discovery of Guiana ,wrote this account one year after his 1595 journey to "Guiana", the Venezuelan region of Guayana. He also visited Trinidad.
    He is a gentleman, writer, poet, soldier, politician, courtier, spy, and explorer. He was cousin to Sir Richard Grenville and younger half-brother of Sir Humphrey Gilbert.

He traveled to Quebec, Canada, where he demonstrated his penchant for learning indigenous languages: Marquette learned to converse fluently in six different Native American dialects and became an expert in the Huron language. He wanted to spread religion, founded Northen Michigan.
