In the meeting the fuher declared annexation of Sudetenland would be the last territorial demand and both, Daladier and Chamberlain believed him and then they signed the Munich agreement . This turned Sudetenland over to Germany without war. With this Daladier and Chamberlain had adopted a shameful policy called appeasement.
