Lynette Fromme attempted to kill Gerald Ford in Sacramento, California. She wanted to make a statement to those who refused to halt environmental pollution and the effects on Air, Trees, Water, and Animals. She did pull the trigger and was quickly arrested by Ford's secret service. Sarah Jane Moore was a mentally unstable woman who tried to assassinate Ford while he was in San Francisco.
