Austria-Hungary declare war on Serbia.
I choose this event because it was the start of a major world war that is talked about still today.
Cause- On June 28th Archduke Francis Ferdinand was assassinated
Effect- Germany declared war on Russia and then France and then Britain declared war on Germany. Also new weapons were being used. 17 million died.
