A demon created by the devil, in the form of the most prevalent form of life at that time, the dinosaurs. He could shape-shift into a doll, a trait that the omnipotent devil knew would become helpful 70 million years afterward, when dolls became popular amongst kids, and the doll would've tricked kids into thinking that Barney was an innocent, inanimate object, when it was really an evil, tyrannical, shapeshifting demon.
