12 Weeks PregnantThe fetus is now 2.5 inches and weighs .7 oz. Fingernails and toenails appear. The face is beginning to look normal.
14 Weeks PregnantThe fetus is 3.5 inches. It weighs 1.5 oz. The eyes move slowly toward the center of the face. Hormones begin to develope.
17 Weeks PregnantThe umbilical cord is growing thickera nd stronger. The fetus weighs 5 oz and is 9 inches in length. The retna has begun to be sensitive to light. The fetus's eyes are now in place.
21 Weeks PregnantThe fetus is 10.5 inches in length and 12.7 oz. Bone marrow has started makeing blood cells.Their small intestine has started to absorb sugars.
27 Weeks PregnantThe fetus weighs almost 2 pounds now and is about 14.5 inches long. Your baby's hearing continues to develop. The eyes can blink, open and close.
31 Weeks PregnantBaby weighs 3.5 pounds and measures 16.5 inches from the head to heel. The eyes have now completely opened and are responding to light and darkness. A loud noise near you may cause your little one to jump.
35 Week PregnantYour baby is now about 18.5 inches in length and weighs over 5.5 pounds. Lungs are almost fully developed. Your baby's reflexes are coordinated.
40 Weeks PregnantAll systems are developed and ready to go. Baby is about 20 inches (51cm) and weighs approximately 7.5 pounds (3.5 kg). The head has a diameter of about 4 inches (10 cm).
