Evita Peron was born on May 7, 1919. She was born in Las Toldas, Argentina. Her early life as a child, was not easy, her family did not have much money. She always dreamed to become an actress. -
Evita's Trouble
In 1926, Evita’s father got killed in a car accident. With this happening, it made it even financially harder for Evita. This meant if she did ever want to become an actress, as she dreamed, she would have to put a lot of work into it. Her mother had to make the money now. She just did little things, that never payed much. -
Evita's start
Just when she was 15, she moved to Buenos Aires to try and find an acting role. In 1937, she landed a position in her first movie “Segundos Afuera”. After that, she got some sort of contract giving her the ability to perform on the radio. Such as, the songs she would sing which I am assuming from the movie she rolled in. -

About 5 years later, she got her own buisness called “Theater of the Air”. This was a station that produced radio stations. She put out a portray to all of the famous women in history. After doing this she got to play Queen Elizabeth in the movie “Catherine the great”. -
Evita's found love
In 1944, was when Juan Peron and Evita met. They discovered their connection and they got engaged. They were really just the perfect match for one another. -
Evita's Marriage
In 1945, Evita married Juan Peron who was involved in the government. The year after their marriage, Juan was named the president of Argentina. As another year went by, Evita decided to show her beliefs. She fought to have the lives of poor people improved. Also, she fought for women's right to vote. -
Evita's turn down
In 1951, Evita was asked to be the vice president with her husband as president. She was so talented with speaking for this job. She turned down the offer to become vice president. Evita decided to do this because of her health. She had been fighting against cervical cancer. -
Evita's honors
In 1952, many people gathered around the world to honor Evita Peron. She had a great life, including her coming over many obstacles. Many people may still think of her today. -
Evita's illness
In June, 1952, was when Evita was last seen by the public. One month after this her sickness really struck her, she had died. This was from cervical cancer. She died when she was just 33. -
Evita's rememberance
Many books, movies, and plays were made about Evita. Including the musical for Evita. Madonna starred in this musical in 1996. The The musical was called “Evita”. This was produced by Tim Rice.
