    Hitler is Named Leader of the Nazi Party
    Hitler became leader of the Socialist German Worker's Party in 1921 after joining the institution in 1919 and slowly raising into command. Hitler became leader thanks to his speaking ability capable to convince many to follow the party after the harsh time Germany was going through after the end of WWI.

    Kellogg-Briand Pact Signed
    Effort of seeking peace after WWI stating that war shouldn't be used as a way to solve conflict. Proposed by the French foreign minister, Aristide Briand and the U.S Secretary of State, Frank B. Kellogg. This act proved to be successful after most of the countries signed it.

    Japan Invades Manchuria
    Japan decided to invade Manchuria because they required raw materials and a place to locate many people that didn't had space in Japan. Chinese reaction towards the Japanese invasion was to reach out to the League of Nations pointlessly because they could only give Japan an economical fine. Japan decided to join forces with other two nations that didn't followed the League of Nations rules.(Germany and Italy).

  • Enabling Act of 1933 is Issued

    Enabling Act of 1933 is Issued
    The Enabling Act ensured Hitler's total control and capacity to enact laws even if they violated the constitution or didn't have the approval of the Reich President. The Nazis only required two thirds of the parliament votes which they obtained by using the SS to intimidate voters and also by preventing communists and some democrats from attending the session.

    Neutrality Act of 1935 Signed
    The Neutrality act was a law that suggested American intentions to avoid war but also show the disapproval regarding new fascist and Nazi powers. The act prevented American participation in war but also left the door open to a possible intervention supporting powers with similar ideologies.

  • Philip Randolph March and Roosevelt's Response

    Philip Randolph March and Roosevelt's Response
    Philip Randolph proposed a march in Washington D.C regarding discrimination in military and industry. Roosevelt was concerned about the effects of this march so he decided to invite Randolph to the white house seeking to cancel the march. Randolph initially refused which forced Roosevelt to give an executive order to all industries and employers avoiding discrimination which cancelled the march.

    Lend-Lease Program Enabled
    The Lend-Lease Program was a proposal by Roosevelt to provide with arms and resources to Britain while they were in war with Germany without being directly involved. Roosevelt believed America shouldn't participate and excused the Lend-Lease Program by saying that Britain would pay for the support at some point so they weren't really getting involved.

    FDR Wins a Third Term as President
    Roosevelt ran for a third term because he believed the country needed him during this hard times with the Nazis and war on its peak. He was crucial in americas participation in war and still is the only American president to serve for more than two terms. The 23rd amendment was created after Roosevelt's decease which indicated that a president could serve no more than 3 terms.

    Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor
    After joining the Axis Powers and basically cutting any relationship with the United States, Japan decided to attack the base of Pearl Harbor in Hawaii seeking to destroy America's crucial fleet units and declare war. Japan intended to conquer South East Asia and believed attacking United States would take them off the way.

    Adolf Hitler Declares War to the United States
    Hitler officially declared war to the United States after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and asked for the Nazi support. Even though the Germans were not forced to support Japan because they were the aggressor, Hitler believed Roosevelt would declare war soon or later so he decided to do it first.
