    Check for the person who put up the info. "'Any website should make it easy for you to learn who is responsible for the site and its information.'" (Health Unit 8)

    People can try to pursuade you into paying for something else that you can't see. "'The source of a website’s funding should be clearly stated or readily apparent.'" (Health Unit 8)

    There's lots of info on websites. You never know who is the creator of the info unless the name is on the website. "'Carefully evaluate any e-mail mes- sages you receive that provide health-related information. Con- sider the message's origin and purpose.". (Health Unit 8)
