  • Electromagnetic Generator

    Electromagnetic Generator
The operating principle of electromagnetic generator was discovered by Michael Faraday. The priority matrix for this project was the cost was accepted or trade off but the time was kept fixed and the performance was to be enhanced
  • Hydroelectric Project

    Hydroelectric Project
This project was created to giver power to single lamp in the cragside country house, a small place in , Northumberland, England. For this project, the priority matrix was like the time was accepted or trade off as the it was the first invention, the cost was fixed and the concentration was on enhancing the performance
  • Electric ceiling Fan

    Electric ceiling Fan
Worlds first electric ceiling fan was made by Philip Diehl. The priority matrix for this project was, the cost was the cost was accepted or trade off where as the time was fixed and the performance was kept to be enhanced.
  • Valuation of Externalities in Urban Areas with Special Focus on Electromagnetic Pollution, Air Pollution and Noise

Valuation of Externalities in Urban Areas with Special Focus on Electromagnetic Pollution, Air Pollution and Noise
This was a research project done in urban areas because of the amount of electromagnetic pollution, air pollution and noise produced by humans. The goal of the project is to estimate how willing households would be to pay for the improvement of the urban environment. The big motive was the big concern of the effect that electromagnetic pollution has. Electromagnetic pollution is caused by mobile antennas, tv transmitters and high voltage power lines. The project leader was Filippini M.
  • PS10 Solar power plant

    PS10 Solar power plant
PS10 solar power plant is the worlds first commercial concentrating solar power tower operating near Andalusia,Spain. It was built by the Spanish company Abengoa. It can provide electricity upto 6000 homes
  • SeaGen

    SeaGen
SeaGen is the world’s first commercial power plant to generate electricity from tidal energy. Commissioned in 2008, the plant is located in a strait in the harbor Strangford Lough, in the Irish Sea, and can provide around 1,500 households with electricity. This power is generated by two large underwater rotors, driven by strong water currents for up to 20 hours a day at high and low tide.
  • Andasol Solar Power Station, Spain.

    Andasol Solar Power Station, Spain.
This was Europe’s first parabolic trough solar power plant. There are 3 plants combined and they make one of the largest power plants in the world. They supply solar power to a lot of Spain.
  • Ccem-retrofit: Advanced energy efficient renovation of buildings

Ccem-retrofit: Advanced energy efficient renovation of buildings
This was a research project to promote and improve cost efficient renovation that uses low energy on existing buildings. They focus on: reducing energy consumption for heating, cooling and hot water, enhancing solar energy use, improving electrical building functions, giving more comfort to live by improving space use. The project manager was Mark Zimmerman.
  • The year of the corkscrew

    The year of the corkscrew
This compact wind turbine was designed by Cleveland State University for the Cleveland Indians, and was generating electricity atop Progressive Field from 2012 to 2013.
  • Azura

    Azura
Azura is a wave power device currently being tested at the US Navy’s Wave Energy Test Site in Hawaii. Unlike other wave energy technologies, Azura extracts energy from both the vertical and horizontal motion of the wave, and can generate 20 kilowatts of power.
  • London Array

    London Array
London Array is the worlds largest offshore wind farm, and it started operating on April 8 2013,about 12 miles off the coast of kent and essex,England. It has a maximum generating power of 630 megawatts(MW) provided by 175 turbines, this project was carried out by Aarsleff and Bilfinger Berger Ingenieurbau GmbH.
  • Energy from sewage

    Energy from sewage
A new data center in the United States is generating electricity for its servers entirely from renewable sources, converting biogas from a sewage treatment plant into electricity and water. Siemens implemented the pilot project, which went into operation in 2014, together with Microsoft and FuelCell Energy.
  • ICE geothermal power plant

    ICE geothermal power plant
The cooling towers for a geothermal power plant run by the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE). The power company managed to produce all of the electricity for the nation from renewable energy sources for more than 80 days straight in 2015, with the use of hydroelectric power plants and a combination of wind, solar, and geothermal energy.
  • Onshore wind farms

    Onshore wind farms
In 2015, the wind industry installed more electricity-generating capacity than any other energy source in America. The San Gorgonio Pass Wind Farm (below) is one of three major wind farms in California, and consists of more than 3,000 wind turbines.
