The Spot
Mike is walking around a village when he finds the spot he has always dreamed about he wants this to become the spot where he builds his dream house with his dream girl. He wonders what the auction for the land will be so he goes, a ton of people want to buy this but the bids aren't high enough for anyone so it doesn't get bought. -
Beginning
Micheal Rogers is introduced, he is 22 years old. He dreams about building a house but does not have the money for it so he can't build it. His dream is to settle in his dream house with his dream women. -
The Girl
Mike goes on a walk in these grounds and while he is there he meets a girl named Ellie and she has a lot of money, she is sick of the world and looking for an escape. She is an heiress and does not want him to know so she doesn't tell him and uses a fake name. He shares his dream with her and it seemed like love at first sight. She mentioned her friend Greta and he seemed mad and jealous about her. -
The Truth
Ellie goes on vacation to Greece, and while she is gone, Mike finds out his property he really wanted had been sold. He asks his mom for money and she turns him down. Ellie then returns and tells him she is rich and wealthy and she wants to be with her and that she bought the property for him and they can now get married and build the house on this property. -
Marriage
Ellie's parents do not approve because Mike does not have money, but Ellie refuses to leave him. They then get married, and start building their home on the land. They move in and time goes by one night a rock is thrown in their window telling them to get off the property. It bugs them but not enough to leave. Ellie wants to invite Greta to live with them but Mike disagrees -
Warning
They explore the village and meet new people, as this gypsy keeps warning them to leave because their is a curse on the house. It starts to really worry Ellie so he goes to the police and finds out that the gypsy had been bribed to terrify residents in the town. -
Closer
Her step-mom moves close to her to try and make sure she is okay, and they are super worried about her marriage. Ellie injuries her ankle and needs care so she convinces Mike to let Greta stay with them to take care of her. -
The Day
Ellie goes on a horse ride one morning by herself, Mike suggests before she leaves that they have lunch that day. Ellie goes off and later Mike is at lunch and starts to worry because Ellie has not came and joined them for lunch yet. -
The Finding
Mike goes home to look for his wife because she does not come, he finds her dead body in the woods and the local police say she died from shock because her horse threw her off. Mike goes to her funeral in America -

The Plot
When he returns home to his dream house, he walks in and there is Greta his dream woman. They had planned to steal her money, and to kill her off taking her money. He had hired the gypsy to scare Ellie, and then killed her off so she would not be a suspect. He kills Greta because he realizes they cannot be together and get away with the crime. Mike was arrested after being found with her body. He says in the end that he wonders if he could have been happy with Ellie and he regrets what he did.
