Ensuring unity among various schools, of the same state, ensures that students will have the same knowledge that their same aged peers have. Allowing people of different locations to interact, discuss and develop new ideas together. Unity in education allows standards to be set not only for the students but also for the teacher and their lesson plans, this helps everyone to receive a quality education. -
The Child Study Movement
Taking a looking at how children intellectually develop as they grow would allow teachers to present their lessons in a way that students would better be able to retain. Knowing how children develop and learn will also allow teachers to learn to shape the material to the development of the children. -
Standardized Tests
Using the results of standardized testing it was easy to see how one school academically compared to another, allowing the school to see if they need to develop new lesson plans to create stronger students, if they were in the lower categories or if they should continue on course if there results were stronger. Individual classrooms could also be assessed allowing a vague assessments of teachers performances to be done. -
Virtual Education
Virtual education is a very valuable innovation of education. Online learning allows students to expand their knowledge by taking courses that may not offered by their school. Online students can also solely attend online classrooms, from their home, allowing for flexibility with work and life. -
IDEA Amendments
The educational performance of all students and teachers is something that benefits everyone. Just as the integration of students with special needs into the general classroom is beneficial to their education. Students will special needs deserve the right to an education that will benefit them not only during their school year but also in the future, integration and the development of social relationships are very beneficial to the process of an appropriate and beneficial education.
