Planet of the Apes was directed by Franklin J. Schaffner and is a futurist film about the world being taken over and turns out to actually be happening when they return back to there time. This is a Sci-fi film and is dystopian as it is post apocolyptic. -

Alien is directed by Ridley Scott and is a Fantasty/Thriller Hybrid which is about a group of people in deep space who find a ship which has a nest of alien eggs on it. The thing inside one of the eggs attaches itself to one of the people causing them to fall in a coma. This is dystopian because it reflects on societes fears of aliens and is in a fantasy world -

The Terminator is Directed by James Cameron and is about a cyborg assassin which is sent from 2029 to 1984 to protect a girl called Sarah. This is a Fantasy/Sci-fi Hybrid and is dystopian because Sarah could cause a nuclear holocaust and cause the end of the world. -

Batman is directed by Tim Burton and is a fantasy/action hyrbid. This is dystopian because its set in gotham city which is a parallel universe. Its about an antihero who takes the law into his own hands in a crime ridden city and strikes fear into the hearts of villians -

Super Mario Bro's is directed by Rocky Morton and Annabel Jankel and is about Mario and Luigi going to save a princess from dinosaur world. This is a sci-fi, fantasy, adventure, action, comedy hybrid film. -
Pleasantville
Pleasantville is directed by Gary Ross. It is about a mysterious television repairman who provides David with a means to escape into the black-and-white program with his sister. -
Star Wars 2
Star wars 2 is directed by George Lucas and is a post apocolyptic world. It is set ten years after the events of "The Phantom Menace,"(first film) and the Republic continues to be mired in strife and chaos. -
