Development of the Periodic Table

  • The Periodic Table was published.

    The Periodic Table was published.
Dmitri Mendeleev published his Period Table in 1869 and he then became the 'father of the periodic table.'
Dmitri also told that physical and chemical changes of the elements varied depending on the atomic mass.
Also protons were not around during this time period.
  • Newly Published Periodic Table

    Newly Published Periodic Table
In 1870 Lothar Meyer published his own Periodic table, similar to Dmitri. They both assorted the elements by increasing atomic mass.
  • Being Accpeted

    Being Accpeted
Around the late 1880's Dmitri Mendeleev’s periodic table was accepted, as the way it was organisied showed each elements values.
  • Nuclear Charge

    Nuclear Charge
Henry Moseley made a desicion of each elements nuclear charge or atomic number. As each element increases the large amount can only be charged by a positive chargel located in the central nucleaus.
He also discoered the isotopes of elements.
  • Ernest Rutherford

    Ernest Rutherford
Ernest Rutherford and Henry Moseley worked together and also in the 1913s Ernest established the findings that the two had made of each elements nuclear charge or atomic number. As each element increases the large amount can only be charged by a positive chargel located in the central nucleaus.
  • Glenn Seaborg

    Glenn Seaborg
Glenn Seaborg discovered 10 new elements in 1944. He moved around elements on the periodic, specifically the 14 elements that still and now rest at the bottom of the periodic table under Actinide. Glenn's version of the Periodic table is the one that is used today.
