Went to Oak Manor in Ukiah, CA from pre-k to half of 2nd grade 1996. In this classroom there was a wide range in economic class. Not everyone was represented, there was no African Americans and a few Asians. I was one of the poor children being son of migrant workers. The children of the land owners were very well off. I lived in house with 3 other families.

Second half of 2nd grade at a school in Vallejo I remember there was a lot of diversity there. Do not remember much of that half of year. 3rd-5th I was at Steffan Manor in Vallejo CA. There there was a lot of different races and economic backgrounds. Two best friends were African American and Caucasian. My caucasian friend was around middle class. We would go to Scandia with their family on their vehicle.

    Middle School
American Canyon Middle School in American Canyon CA, is where I went to middle school. There was a wide range of economic classes there. The school was mostly Asians and Caucasians. At that time we were still lower middle or lower class. Friends had phones and other "toys", I did not. Lived in a mobile home.

For high school I went to Fairfield High School. This school was very diverse. There were kids of all backgrounds and social economic classes. My class at that time was middle to lower middle class. I had all school utensils needed, but not luxuries. I had a few academic opportunities missed due to financial reasons. My friends were from lower to upper class. One friend had to burrow supplies while the other had a private plane.

    College
For college I went to UC Merced where I saw people of all ages, races and economic classes. My economic class did not have much of an impact there. The school provided a lot of resources and we had enough for a laptop. The laptop was the only resource that was "necessary" or very useful. The students there were a close communities so most of the books would be borrowed, rented or bought very cheap.

    Sonoma State(road to credential)
In my current classroom in Sonoma I have not had the opportunity to discuss with many of the students. Meaning I don't know all of their economic classes. From what I have seen and looked up the school is not that racially diverse.
