    Darwin joined the captain on the HMS Beagle for a trip around the world.
  • Explores Salvador, Brazil

    Darwin sees the tropical forests and is amazed. He observes the diversity of vegetation throughout the rain forest.

    Darwin finds great fossil bones and believes some of them are quite new. Also Captain FitzRoy beings back natives and trys to start a Christian mission, which fails.

    Darwin explores in Falkland Islands and he cracks open rocks and finds numerous fossils. It was full of Brachiopods which are two shelled animals.

    Darwin sees Mount Osorno erupt and experiences an earthquake near Valdivia. He then believes the earthquake affected the island by degrading the size of the island for almost 100 years.
