    Constitution of 1824
    The three branches of the Mexican Constitution still have 2 house congress's and four year terms for the president. Also people helped with the Mexican Constitution were SFA and Erasmo Seguin. SFA helped by SFA conferring with the mexican leaders. And Erasmo helped by writing it. This was all in 1824.
  • Fredonian Rebelion

    Fredonian Rebelion
    In 1826 to 1827 an Anglo settler named Fredonian Rebelion was the first to attempt secede from Mexico. And this all led to Haden Edwards gathering up 800 men to settle as many areas in Texas. They did this for more land grants. But at the end the anglo settlers failed.

    Mier Y Teran Report
    In 1827 in Mexico City a President named Mier Y Teran Report led a scientific boundary that was there to find more land resources and indians. At the end of all this he was here to call for the prohibition of slavery and to close the borders of Texas to Americans. He did this to help Mexico after being signed up to a military escort.

    Guerrero Decree
    In September 1829, Guerrero Decree was here to abolish slavery and U.S immigrants into Texas. He did this to protect Texas, but this convinced that people in Texas interests were not safe.

    The Law of April 6, 1830 was to stop the flood of immigration into Texas. So people were thinking about this and suddenly SFA protested the law to Mexican officials. So after all the protests it led to the Battle of Velasco. SFA did this to express what he had on his mind about this law.

    Conflict at Anahuac
    On October 26 1830, the Conflict at Anahuac started. Juan Davis Bradburn came to the mouth of trinity water to establish a Garrison to protect immigrants from coming in. They did this because more and more immigrants kept on coming in so they were trying to find new solutions.

    Turtle Bayou Resolutions
    On June 12 1832, John Davis Bradburn flew from Anahuac north to the crossing on Turtle Bayou. They did this because they heard about the federalist winning a big battle. Later four resolutions condemned violations of the 1824.
  • Battle of Velasco

    Battle of Velasco
    On June 26 1832, This battle contained 100-150 texan troops and 91 to 200 mexican troops. Mexican had to surrender for running out of ammunition. This battle all started by settlers fighting the Mexican force at Fort Velasco, who tried to prevent the passage of the boat carrying the cannon.

    On 1832 October 1st SFA was elected to be president and the people met with him for October 1 to 6. They talked about tariff exemptions, modification of the Law of April 6, 1830, to permit more general immigration from the United States, donation of government lands for the maintenance of primary schools. All these ideas were not shown to the Mexican government.

    The Convention of 1833 met at San Felipe on April 1, Again this time William H. Wharton wanted Indian defense, judicial reform, and improvement in mail service, sought tariff exemption, and passed resolutions prohibiting African slave traffic into Texas. Juan Erasmo Seguín, Dr. James B. Miller, and Austin, but everybody couldn't go so SFA went alone.

    SFA goes to Mexico City
    In 1833, when SFA was chosen to present the Convention of 1833 ideas, he broke laws trying to convince the government to repeal the Law of April 6. So he was arrested for what he had done, but he knew what he was trying to do and will never think wrong of what he did.
  • The Consultation

    The Consultation
    In 1835, the Consultation was to continue a diplomatic relations with Mexico, led by Stephen F. Austin and the side that wanted to immediately declare independence, led by William Wharton and Henry Smith. They both stuck up for what they believe in and on November 7 was established.
