on January 9, 2007, Steve Jobs announced the release of the new iPhone at the Macworld Expo. Six months and twenty days later, the first iPhone was here. -
iPhone 3gs
this iPhone was replaced the first iPhone. it came with more storage and more features, such as a back camera, and bug fixes. -
iPhone 4
the iPhone 4 was introduced to the world in June of 2010. this new phone introduced a new hardware and design to the iPhone family. at the time, the iPhone 4 was the thinnest smartphone in the word. -
iPhone 5
this is the sixth generation iPhone. revealed to world September 21, 2012. Unfortunately, the iPhone 5 was discontinued Septemeber 10, 2013 with the announcement that the 5S and 5C were coming out. the 5C is the start of the different color iPhones. coming out with five different colors, the iPhone 5C made a way for the 6,7.8,and 10 colors. -
iPhone 6 & 6 plus.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus include larger 4.7 and 5.5 inches (120 and 140 mm) displays, a faster processor, upgraded cameras, improved LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity. -
iPhone 7 and 7 plus
the iPhone 7's overall design is similar to the iPhone 6S, but introduces new color options, water and dust resistance, a new capacitive, static home button, and removes the 3.5 mm headphone jack. -
iPhone 8 and 8 plus
the addition of a glass back, the designs of iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are largely similar to the other iPhones before it. Some changes are the wireless charging, a faster processor, and improved cameras and displays. -
iPhone X
Within Apple's lineup, the iPhone X is positioned as a high-end, premium model with what Apple is presenting as technology of the future The iPhone X has two color options; silver and space gray. The front and back of the phone are composed of surgical-grade stainless steel to improve durability, and the device has a glass casing. The design is intended to be water and dust resistant.
