Who invented the first telephone?
The first telephone was invented by Alexander Graham bell in 1876. "He would later face years of legal challenges to his claim that he was its sole inventor, resulting in one of history’s longest patent battles". That didn't let bell stop his scientific work for rest of his life. -
Improvements (Mobile phones)
The first "Mobile phone" developed by Motorola in 1973. It was Martin Cooper who placed the first call at AT&T Bells labs from the streets in New York. -
1984- Nokia Mobira Talkman
The phone weighed under 5 kg and is world's one of the first transportable phones. A charger and a car was need it to charge it. Once it was launched it sales created a stir in the market. -
1989- Motorola MicroTac
Motorola Microtac was the smallest and lightest available phone at the time. It was released as the "MicroTac pocket Cellular Telephone" It was also designed keeping in mind to fit in a shirt pocket. -
1992 motorola international 3200
First digital sized mobile phone was from Motorola was introduced in 1992. This was the first handset that gave the world an idea of "Flip phones". The international 3200 was crafted to enable mobile phones to use the original cell technology. -
1994- Motorola 2900 BagPhone
These phones put of 3 watts of power. Motorola introduced is a very powerful line in 1992. -
1996- Motorola Startac
This was when vibrating ring was introduced. They sold around 60 million units over the course of their long life. -
1996- Nokia 8110 (Improvements)
The slider factor made it different than the others. The slider was their to protect the keypad. This was really good improvements. -
1998- Nokia 5110
Everyone had these, they all liked it. It allowed customers to customize their phones. They weren't just for communication, they were now about fashion too. It also had a game called "Snake" -
1999 -Nokia 8210
The lightest and smallest Nokia phone that was available at the time. You could find six different colors on the X-Press on covers of your phone. The phone used SMS. -
2002- RIM Blackberry 5810
Only used by professionals, like lawyers, who needed access to their email. The reputation started to change in 2002. -
2004- Motorola Razr V3
One of the thinnest phones in the world. There is no dispute, it was the coolest looking phone. -
2007- Apple Iphone (Last Smart phones to be made, no improvements yet.)
The iPhone completely changed the definition of Smartphone. This runs on Apple's IOS mobile operating system.It was the best thing that was invented so far. It is the most bought thing in the world. I Personally like this invention and i it's a great idea but their needs to be more improvements and more functions.
