    Roanoke
    Roanoke's original foundation was established in 1587 before the occurrence of the Pilgrims and Jamestown. However, due to a shortage in resources, the current leader at the time (John White) was left with no other option then to return to England to obtain more resources. However, following White's return, the settlers had distinctly vanished.

    Jamestown
    In the place of march 1607, several colonist had begun a journey they hoped would lead them to the new world. However, they ended up pulling up to shore of the James river, a place believed to be a peninsula. Although, a much hated acquaintance had been on board of the ship; John Smith, who many had many accusations.

    New York
    The crescent, a ship that was traveling looking for the new land had landed in present day New York, previously known as New Jersey. It was led by captain Hudson, one who worked for the Dutch East India organisation in hopes of finding a passage by sea from India to the new land. However, this plan failed and him and his crew had settled within the realms of the new land.

    House of Burgesses
    The Burgesses house was formed in 1629 in a specific shaped way to fit the English Parliament. This was the first form of the legislative branch that still functions today with establishing laws etc.

    Europeans voyage to the new found land on a large ship known as the "Mayflower." They had settled in Plymouth territory right upon Massachusetts coast.

  • Mayflower Compact

    Mayflower Compact
    The men and woman that had traveled on the Mayflower were known as separatist. This community had entitled themselves to being "saints," however some of the passengers were protestant separatists. Less than 50 of these members were considered these protestant separatist. Later, these members went on to form a document called the Mayflower compact, where they agreed to strive laws of equality and freedom.

    This territory was established by 1,000 or more Puritan refugees originating from England. The Massachusetts bay company had created a deal between an empowering company for them to colonize regions of New England.

    The Rhode island territory was founded under Roger Williams, whom promised religious and political freedom. Enforcing the idea of the free nation to come. Many refugees who had migrated went to Rhode Island for this guaranteed source of freedom. This had later been the first state to become independent of rule from Great Britain.
  • Connecticut

    Connecticut
    In the year of 1636, the Connecticut colony was accepted. John Winthrop Jr. had fought hard hoping to conquer the land in possession of the Dutch, which he eventually achieved and declared it as a permanent colony.

    Maryland Toleration Act
    The Maryland colony had passed this act in 1649. This law enforced the ideology of religious beliefs to interact with the British and north American colonies, then resulting in the break apart between church and state.

    Bacon's Rebellion
    This battle was originated by Nathaniel Bacon, whom had taken part of a mob to burn Jamestown and Indian settlements within the city. This was struck through protest that which originated from the ideology of lack of protection from the government on basic human rights and defense among the people.

    This colony was founded under William Penn. This region's purpose was to give the Quackers a religious home of comfort, but it was very diverse in religions after years. This territory was known for its cash crops which had funneled most of its economy.

  • Salem Witch Trials

    Salem Witch Trials
    This event had taken place after a group of girls had been convicted for interactions with satanic arts. They had blamed civilians among the society who eventually had led to over 150 people being accused. Many were executed when "proven" guilty, however many of these accusations were false and poorly proven with limited factual evidence.
