Korean War
The Korean War began in June 25, 1950, and it ended in July 27, 1953. Two Koreas were invaded each other and fought.
Why? It was an important because Korean War was the first War as a cold war. U.S helped South Korea as a democracy; Soviet Union helped North Korea as a communist.
Results: Two Koreas are divided until now. North became a communist, and South became a democracy. -
Start of Vietnam War
The Vietnam War began in November 1, 1955.
Why? It was an important for Cold War because the U.S President sent a military troops in Vietnam to fight against to a communist. They did not want Vietnam become a communist. U.S hates a communism!
Results: during the war, many U.S soldiers were dead or got injured. They did not notice who the enemies were. -
End of Vietnam War
Vietnam War was eventually ended in April 4,1975.
Why? It was an important for a Cold War because many U.S military troops fought for them.
Results: Vietnam is united after a long fight. However, U.S started to blame on Vietnam that the reason why the American soldiers were dead. Even though they are united, we still considered Vietnam as one of communist countries. -
Fall of Berlin Wall
After World War 2, the spokesman for East Berlin's Communist Party announced a change in his city's relations with the West.
Why? it was a significance for a Cold War because it affected to whole Europe countries even Africa.
