The Yalta Conference was a meeting between Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin to discuss the possible ending of WWII and the separation of Germany, the fate of Poland, The UN and the German reparations. -

WWII ended in unconditional surrender of the Super Powers. On this day, Germany's surrender was accepted by the allies soon after Hitler committed suicide. VE stands for victory in Europe and is the celebration of the second world war. -
