    Missouri compromise
    A compromise saying that no slaves could be above the line of Missouri, but slaves could be below Missouri. This allowed for Maine to be a free state but Missouri to be a slave state. This help divide the USA because this was the line of the Union and the Confederacy.

    Slaves wanted to rebel so they did and then they punished. They got the crap beaten out of them and some killed by a whip. The rights and the education was taken away from the slaves by Virgina and they became more stupid and the slaves were more controlled.

    This was a big debate over the Wilmot Proviso the two senatores (Henry Clay and Stephen Doglous) made the compromise to prevent further territorial expansion of slaves. This was to make the Fugitive Slave Act stronger. This made the North return the slaves back to the south. This made the United States even more segregated.

    The Fugitive Slave Act was a Federal law which was written by congress for the runaway slaves to come back. Free slaves had to go back to the masters.

    Harriet Beecher was a fictional exploration that made the people realize what happened when a slave was held in capitation. This caused a bigger problem from the North and the South because it brought up the issues that the mastors caused for the slaves while people just sat around and watced.

    Abraham Lincoln sent out some fresh supplies to garrisons. Confederate warships wouldn't allow the supplies to go to where they belong. The civil war was not underway. This is when the volunteers and then thy had to start making people. Ships and things started blowing up and the war was started.
