    In 1877 Peirce first elaborated on Pragmatism in a series of works titled "Illustrations of the Logic of Sience" published in the Popular Science monthly.
  • Summary of Charles Sanders Peirce

    Charles Sanders Peirce is considered to be the “Father of Pragmatism” and is one of the early philosophers of logic. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and was the son of a Harvard professor. This allowed Peirce to study great works at a young age and in doing so he showed early promise and signs of genius.
    Peirce had a career in the physical sciences, but his passion was for logic. Continued in Assignment.
