During the voyage of the H.M.S. Beagle, the crew traveled to Cape Verde, Patagonia, the Falkland Islands, Tierra del Fuego, Galapagos Islands, Tahiti, New Zealand, Australia, Tasmania, the islands of Mauritius and Reunion, Brazil, and Portugal before returning to Falmouth, England. It was during this voyage that Charles Darwin, through his studies and observations, truly became a scientist and naturalist observer. -
