    The act said that Kansas would be split up and then vote on slavery and the rest of the Louisiana purchase would decide if they want slavery

    The raid was at the federal arsenal at Harpers Ferry, Virginia. The purpose was to arm slaves to start a rebellion. John Brown was killed by a hanging for treason.
