    Jainism is founded by Nataputta Mahavira. Jainism is a belief that states that every thing has a soul, and nothing shall be harmed. Jain monks will never harm a single thing, not even an insect. Jainism was founded as a revolt against Hinduism. Jainism has 4.2 million followers. It is practiced in India.

    Buddhism was founded by Siddhartha Gautama, also know as the Buddha. Buddhism is a way of life that teaches people the Four Noble Truths, and to follow the Eightfold Path, or the middle way. This path teaches followers to walk between extremes of selflessness and desire. Buddhism is about doing good deeds and achieving enlightenment, or nirvana. Buddhism has 488 million follower. It is practiced in many places, including China, India, Thailand, and Japan.

    Sikhism is founded by Guru Nanak. Sikhs believe in honesty, mediation to god, and sharing the fruits of one's labors with others. Sikhism doesn't use caste systems. There are around 20 million followers. It is practiced in India.
