During this war the colonists had to pay taxes to help the war. Paying taxes continued until this day. Taxes were used to make the army stronger. Better weapons and armor were used to make the army better. -
Colonists against Britain
The colonists were over the British taking control and they wanted their freedom. The only way to get freedom was to go against them. Going against the British helped the colonists become more brave. We have also, from then to now, have Americans fight for what they wanted. We became a strong army by fighting for what we wanted. The outcome was great because the u.s is know for people having their freedom. -

The colonists knew that going face to face with the British wouldn't have a great outcome. They shared their ideas with each other and came up with ways to attack them. The colonists were savvy and eventually became a bigger group from the word spreading around. The colonists were getting smarter and soon became stronger. This helped shape America i so many ways. Without putting ideas together we would have never won our land and freedom. -
Americas and france allies
The Americans and the french worked together to overcome the British. In this situation it's the enemies enemy alliance. The Americans were ineed and the french wanted to overcome the British. This helped America with having allies. We need people on our side to over power and have more necessities and land. This shaped America because it showed that we have more power can take on anything for what we believe in. -
The constitution becomes supreme law of the land
The constitution created the most progressive government. It divided powers and satisfied the Americans with freedom and protection. To this day the constitution is still the nations fundamental law, it is what keeps America together. This also encouraged other nations such as Europe to have changes for the better. This made America look like the leader.
