The bot fight
Exposition 1.
Hiro enters the bot fight. Hiro wins! This is the exposition because it introduces the main character (Hiro) and gives us a sense of the setting where the movie will take place, -
The nerd school
Exposition 2.
This is when Hiro's brother,Tadashi brings him to the nerd school. This is also in the exposition because it introduces us to another important character that is essential to the plot development, Tadashi, and also to the nerd school where we will meet other important characters. -
Nerd school part 2.
Exposition 3.
Hiro realizes he wants to go to the nerd school with Tadashi's friends Go Go, Wasabi, Honey Lemon, and Fred! It is the exposition because we meet more characters. This is also part of the developing plot because he realized he wants to do more than bot fight. He sees that learning can be cool. -
Hiro prepares!
Exposition 4.
Hiro prepares his idea in his aunts basement! This is in the exposition because his idea is the application to the nerd school, which is the setting where the rising action will begin to take place. -
Presentation
Rising action 1.
Hiro presents his Micro Bots and then the building catches fire! His Micro Bots show that he is a genius, and that his invention is important. The fire really contributes to the rising action, because you know something is going down. -
Tadashi, Hiro's brother dies in the fire
Rising action 2.
Tadashi runs into the fire to save professor Callaghan and dies! His brother dying is part of the rising action because it shapes the emotions that are in the rest of the story. -
Bamax wakes up and they find the man in they mask
Rising action 3.
Bamax, his brothers invention, wakes up when Hiro gets hurt because he is a health care robot. This makes us feel that Tadashi's memory still live on in Bamax. They follows the micro bot to an abandoned building, because it is attracted to other micro bots. Hiro discovers a man in a mask is using Hiro's Micro Bots!! Now the rising action is really high. We see a new twist in the plot... a bad guy! -
Hiro upgrades his friends and makes them super heroes!
Rising action 4.
Hiro goes after the man in the mask and fails. He makes suites for his friends based on their skills! The plot thickens! This is when the heroes of the story are born, otherwise know as Big Hero 6. -
They figure out who is in the mask!!!
Climax 1.
They figure out that professor Callaghan is wearing the mask, and they are surprised because he should have died in the fire! Now we are really hooked, because who we thought was a good guy is a bad guy, who should have been dead. Something is really going on! -
They find a security clip!
Climax 2.
In the security clip they see Kray launched a woman in a pod to show the general that they discovered teleportation; it did not work. The woman was professor Callaghan's daughter! So she is the daughter of the man behind the mask, and we see how an experiment went wrong. The plot gets more involved. We see how he could be angry at Kray! -
Callaghan tries to destroy Kray tech!
Climax 3.
Professor Callaghan rebuilds the machine that killed his daughter and uses it to destroy Kray Tech! It is part of the climax because there is chaos everywhere when he destroys Kray Tech. We are on the edge of our seats! -
Professor Callaghan's daughter is alive!
Climax 4.
When the team destroys all of professor Callaghan's Micro Bots the machine falls and Bamax realizes that professor Callaghan's daughter is still alive but in hyper sleep! How exciting, she could still be alive! This is climactic! This could lead us towards the falling action and resolution... or not! -
The conflict
Conflict 1.
The conflict is between professor Callaghan and Kray. Callaghan ios angry because Kray accidentally killed his daughter. -
Professor Callaghan fights Hiro and Bamax
Conflict 2.
Professor Callaghan and Hiro have a conflict because he killed his brother! He made the fire and surrounded himself with the microbots to protects him, and when Tadashi went into save him and the building exploded, he died and Callaghan didn't. Hiro is angry and wants revenge! -
Hiro is grieving losing his brother
Conflict 3.
When Hiro is fighting he is reminded of his brother's death and becomes sad. Here we see a conflict inside of Hero with his emotions. Instead of just being angry, he uncovers is sadness. -
Hiro is sad because he lost Bamax
Conflict 4.
Hiro lost Bamax and is very sad! This is a conflict because he feels that he lost the the robot his brother had made, and he has a hard time letting go of it, because he loved his brither and he grew to love Bamax. How will he go on? -
Hiro saves professor Callaghan's daughter
Falling action 1.
They go into the machine to find Callaghan's daughter and they save her. Even though this is when Hiro loses Bamax, it also shows how things that went wrong during the movie between Callaghan and Kray might get better. -
Hiro starts going to the nerd school!
Falling action 2.
Hiro has lost his brother his best friend Bamax, but this doesn't stop him from going to school! We see how Hiro decides to move on with his life anyway, following in the path of his brother. He remembers him with love. This is falling action because it show how life will go on after the movie. -
The chip
Resolution 1.
Hiro is at the nerd school and he finds Bamax's chip in his rocket hand! In this last scene we see that Bamax can live again! For Hiro, this is a happy ending, which is a resolution. -
Bamax is back
Resolution 2. Hiro uses the chip to restore Bamax and then they become Super Heroes defending San Frantokyo! Bamax is reborn and the Big Hero 6 goes on to become super heroes! The end.
