A powful monster living in darkness has woken. This terrible monster, named Grandel comes out when it night time and strikes when it is dark out. Grendel goes to the Herot and kills thirty men. This monster contniues to do this for 12 years and rules Herot. -

The coming of Beowful
Beowulf, whom is the strongest of the Geat, set off with fourteen of his strongest & most brave men to the Danish.
Beowulf has heard how Grendel filled the nights with horror, and is coming to protect the Danes and kill the monster. -

Beowulf's Boast
After, Beowulf and his men had sailed a long way threw the sea, they finally made it the the Danish. Beowulf's boasted himself to the King of the Danes, telling him the he is worthy of killing their monster. Hrothgar allows Beowulf to stay and kill Grendel. -

Battle with Grendel
Grendel creeps into Herot when Beowulf and his men were sleeping. Once Grendel kills one of Beowulf's men, he gets up and starts the battle and Beowulf beaten him. After, Beowwulf defeated Grendel he keeps Grendel's arm for a trophy of his vicotry. -

Beowulf is a hero to the Danes for defeating Grendel and getting thier mead- hall back, Herot. The Danes celebrate with Beowulf in the mead-hall .
