    Ludwig Von Beethoven was born in Bonn, Germany to mother Maria and father Johann Von Beethoven who was a court musician himself. Johann was an alcoholic and was known to be abusive to his son Ludwig. But Ludwig has said that it was because of his father that he was so good at music. (Beethoven pg.11).
