    The Colonists were taxed on sugar imported from foreign countries. Since colonists kept on protesting the taxed was lowered two years later.

    Colonists were forced to house and provide food,drink,fuel,and transportation to redcoats(British soldiers).

    Colonies were taxed on glass,lead,paints,and tea. A series of laws that intensified tension between Great Britain and the thirteen colonies. In 1770 parliament repealed the act causing a sort of truce between colonies and Britain,but not for very long.
