    Atahualpa was born in 1502, he died at August 29, 1533, Cajamarca peru. Atahualpa was an Inca leader or was a ruler of the Inca. The word, Atahualpa means, “Virile-sweet”.

    A tiny bit later, November 1532, Atahualpa filled his prison cell with golden objects to try to buy his freedom. The Spaniards took the gold, yet Francisco worried about what would happen to him and his troops if he were to let him go.

    Then finally in 1533, Atahualpa was sentenced to death by burning, but they changed so that he would be strangled to death. They carried out the death sentence and Atahualpa was sent to death.
