    See if anything feels out of place/needed/quick touch ups.

    Art drafting

    First drafts of CGs, Character design + Sprites, Backgrounds. (mostly black and white phase) Check for: 1: Proper angle/POV 2: Right scenes 3: Layers (Modifiable parts of the asset like faces, hand movements, and etc...)
  • 1st Art QC

    Assess and evaluate: 1) If angles and image captures the desired feel of the scene. 2) Color schemes, mood, and characters fit the setting 3) Note down things that will "move" during CGs (arms, faces, additional art)
  • Period: to

    Adding of color and textures

    Next phase in Art creation. To get a better image of the scenes, we need to have an idea of the colors and contrasts of the scenes. Actions being done in the scene. Sprite variations (Face and hand gestures)
  • Second Art QC

    Check for: 1) Sprites and it's variations should be final 2) Discuss any fixes needed on the color, proportions, facial expressions. 3) Overall image quality before polish. (Discuss details that can be added)
  • Period: to

    Art asset finalization

    Emotion on faces should be defined by this point. General tone and details should be in the images. Iron out any problems left in the art. Lighting should be adjusted as needed.
  • 3rd QC for art

    Should already be worked into the game engine. Proportions should be adjusted to aesthetically pleasing levels from a player's perspective. Last chance for any changes.
  • Period: to

    Final art enhancement/ polishing

    Additional details, color polishing, details in faces, and etc...
