Establishment of Buenos Aires
The capital of Argentina is Buenos Aires. The capital was established in 1580 by Juan de Garay. -
A new colony
in 1`776 Argentina becomes apart of a new Spanish colony called the Viceroyalty of the Rio de la Plata. The Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata was the last to be organized and also the shortest-lived of the Viceroyalties of the Spanish Empire in the Americas. -

This finally happened and the First National Government Independent of Spain was formed. On July 9, 1816, the independence of the United Provinces of the Río de la Plata was declared (which included modern-day Argentina, Uruguay and part of Bolivia) in a meeting of congress in Tucumán. -
