    One of the kings courtiers said that the Jewish customs were different than theirs. The king was about to send out a decree that all the Jews will be killed. Before he sent it, the king found out that his wife, Esther, was Jewish. Haman, the courtier, was executed. Esther saved her people from this decree.

    In Fulda, Germany Jews were accused of killing children as a religious ritual. The king at the time, asked Christians that were once Jews to confirm or deny these accusations. They said the accusations were false. Thereafter, every ruler that followed said that the accusations were false.
