Birthday
Angela was born in Medellin, Colombia, on 9 September 1976 with her twin sister. She grew up in a very large family in Moravia neighborhood, she has 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Every day, they used to play together, even to skate 2 hours a day. -
Difficult Time
At the age of 6 her father died, so her mother had to take the family forward, that is why she saw her mother as a role model. Also, because she is a strong, enterprising woman, she always has a smile in her face and loved to help people. -
Finding her Passion
Therefore, she always wanted to help people too. So she started working when she was 19 years old with ICBF in a social project for families, where those families learn about the importance of human rights. She has always been surrounded by people who want to help, in fact, she is currently working as a community leader in the Moravia neighborhood developing different projects to help Moravia community. -
Washington Tour
She has always thought that her hidden talent or best ability is that she is very good at speaking with people. So much so that she went on an international tour with the musical group Explosion Negra to Washington, which was nominated for the Grammy Awards. It was an excellent experience. -
Gaining Knowledge
In July of 2017 she went to Berlin, Germany with 12 other leaders to an international exchange to participate in projects of sustainable communities, which, they are being implemented right now in Moravia. -
Her Whises
Angela wish that someday, more people got involved with Moravia community, she would like to study to be a lawyer, in that way, she would have more tools to help people and be an extraordinary community leader and a role model for young people.
