    The Supreme Court case involving the segregation of races in public places. The idea was thatt as long as the facilities were provided for all people, the "Seperate but equal " act.
  • Brown V The Board of Education

    A supreme court case that involved the public schools, and the debate of whether it is constitutional to segregate in public schools. Eventually it was ruled that the segregation of children in public schools was illegal. This care oner through he PlessyV Ferguson decision.
  • Murder of Emmet Till

    Emmit till was a young african american who was lunched at tbhe ae of 14 after flirting with a young white woman, he was beat by two white men then hung. This event was important because it unmasked the violent and brutal treatment they indured for such small acts.
  • Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott

    On a bus there was a black woman by the name of Rosa Parks rifinthe bus home from work, at one point there was an order directed at her to give up her seat to a colored person. She eventually was released and this inspired civil disobediance.
  • Foundin of southern christian group and Martin Luther King

    An organization forrmed to cordinate and support no violent action as a use of making a tatment by boycotting the bus systems. MLK shortly after became president of this group. The importance of this oranization is crucial becasue it pointed out to end all forms of seregation.
  • Little Rock and central Hgh school

    The follow up of the case Brown V The Board of Education, coming to where the first black children attend an all white school.. There were many complications during the first day that the president had to lead by example, and senf troops out to allow the childtren to enter the school
