  • Lexington and Concord

    Lexington and Concord
    The British won in Lexington and Colonists won in Concord. The reason the British went down to Lexington and Concord was because they had found out that the colonists were storing guns and ammunition in Concord. Then Paul Revere comes on his horse and yells at the top of his lungs the redcoats are comig. So the people in Lexington got ready, and Paul Rever kept going to Concord.
  • Fort Ticonderoga

    Fort Ticonderoga
    The Colonsts won. Allen and Arnold (Patriots) pair up to destroy the British at Fort Ticonderoga. When they took over they took the guns and ammunition from there and that provided artillery for the first year of the war.
  • Bunker (Breeds) Hill

    Bunker (Breeds) Hill
    British won. Colonists were gettting low on ammunition and were told not to fire until you see the whites of their eyes. The british charged once and failed they charged again, and it got better. Then they charged once more and they won but they took heavy losses to their troops. They lost a lot of people that day.
  • Long Island (Brooklyn Heights)

    Long Island (Brooklyn Heights)
    British defeated Patriots. British controlled New York City. The Brtish captured Nathan Hale and he said "the only thing I regret is only having one life to lose for my country." They later slaughtered him.
  • Trenton

    Trenton
    Washington saw British troops in Trenton and wanted to take them by suprise. So he crossed the Deleware river in the middle of the night on Christmas night and took them by suprise. They were not ready and that was just fine to George Washington.
  • Saratoga

    Saratoga
    This battle was won by the Patriots. There was supposed to be three British troops coming and the patriots stopped one then another and then they went to Saratoga. We surrounded them and they eventually surrendered.
  • Cowpens

    Cowpens
    Patriots Victory. Greene split his army in two. One section went out and defeated the British. The other went out and raided British forts to get guns and ammunition.
  • Yorktown

    Yorktown
    Corwallis and his troop were in Yorktown and Americans came and surrounded them. A french fleet arrived by New York and another one was supposed to be coming there and instead it went down near Yorktown the french put their boat in the ocean so nobody could get to Yorktown by boat. When George Washington heard the news about the French Fleet going down to Yorktown he decided his troops would go down their secretly. George Washington didn't even tell his men where they were going.
