Proclamation of 1763
This forbade all settlements past the Appalachian Mountains -
Sugar Act
Merchants were required to pay 6 pence for each gallon of impoted foreign molasses. -

This required that all American colonists had to pay tax on all the the printed pieces of paper they used. -
Quartering Act
It requires American colonies to pay for the British soldiers temporary housing. -

It says that the parliament has the right to tax colonies. -
The Townshend Acts
The paliament passed it to tax imports such as glass, tea, and paper. -
Boston Massacre
It was a street fight with a patriots throwing things at British soldiers. -
Boston Tea Party
Patriots disguised as Indians dumped 9,000 pounds worth of tea into the Boston Harbor. -
The Intolerable Acts
There were new laws being made and to express there feelings colonists named them the Intolerable Acts. -
Continental Congress
It served as the government for the thirteen colonies. -
The Battles of Lexington and Concord
This was the first engagement between the minutemen and British troops, Paul Revere warned people of the attack. -
The Battle of Bunker Hill
The british moved the Americans off the Charlestown peninsula. This happened on the Breed's hill. -
The Olive- Branch Petition
It askes for the recognization of American rights. -
The Battle of Quebec
The American forces tried to capture the citie of Quebec and to drive the British forces out. -
Declaration of Independence
I says that all of the colonies have sovereignty.
