Taxation Without Representation
Britain starts raising taxes in America without there consent. They started the Sugar act that taxed sugar, the Stamp act that taxed printed products and the Townsend Act that taxed glass and beads. -
Boston Massacre
A group of colonists start a fight with British solders on the street of Boston and 5 colonists ended up killed. -
Boston Tea Party
All the taxes were repealed except the tea tax. So some people decided to dump tea into the Boston harbor. And that's exactly what they did. -
1st Continental Congress
56 delegates decided to right a petition to Parliament. In it they told Parliament that they were no given equal rights. -
Lexington & Concord
A British General herd of a meeting between two leaders of the Sons of Liberty. He told British forces to attack said meeting. But before the British Arrived the leaders of the Sons of Liberty were warned and had there meeting in a different location. -
2nd Continental Congress
The delegates rote a second petition to parliament saying again that they were being treated unfairly. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
The Continental and British army fought over Bunker hill. What they did not know was that Bunker hill was actually the next hill over. -
Declaration of Indipendance
The delegates from the second Continental Congress decide to declare Independence from the king. -

In the winter the patriots set up camp at Valley Forge. Starvation and hunger killed many men. -
The Battle of York Town
This battle was the last battle in the revolutionary war. It was also when America won there Independence when Britain surrendered. -
Treaty of Paris
This treaty was the treaty that ended the revolutionary war. This treaty gave America their Independence.
