Boston Massacre
In 1770, some of the colonists got into a little arguement with the red coats. The arguement got more intense by a colonist throwing a snowball at the red coats. Whitch led the read coats the shoot into the crowd of colonists. -
Boston Tea Party
The boston tea party was to protest the tea act , witch the colonists had to pay taxes on tea. The colonists went to boston harbor and threw the tea into the harbor to protest the taxes. -
British Boston Blockade
In 1774 British Parliament passes the Boston Port Act. They shut down boston harbor and the colonists have to pay for all the damaged tea. -
First and Second Continental Congress (including Olive Branch Petition)
The First Continental Congress was about the Coercive Acts and what they are going to do about them. The second Continental Congress had many debates about controversial topics. The Olive Branch Petition was a final attempt to not go to war with the brittish. -
Lexington and Concord
In 1775, The brittish were going into town to take all of the colonists weapons but they didn’t know that the colonists were waiting for them and they were going to attack the brittsh. -
Declaration of Independence
This document was declaring independece from the brittish because they were sick of then controling them. -

A fifthy page pamphlet, it was widly controversial, attacked the monarcy and King George. Sold almost 500,000 copies.
